About the Performance:
In her most collaborative work to date, performance artist and clay sculptor, Summer Hills-Bonczyk explores themes of transformation, embodiment and impermanence. Craft is performed as a ritualized process of making and unmaking. The story of Murus invites us to contemplate how we might slow down, soften and experience the world through all the senses. Musicians Erin O'Neill and Ben Oliver will perform their original soundscape that was composed specifically for this performance.
